Weight & Pressure Blankets

The Somna® Blanket has a two-in-one function: it is up to you whether you want more or less tactile stimulation. Using the blanket enables you to relax, wind down, and achieve a better quality of sleep. The blanket comes in junior and adult sizes, in various weights.

A softer and warmer blanket

The Somna® Blanket Sensitive is available for those who prefer a softer blanket. It has the same two-in-one function as the classic Somna® Blanket, but in the Sensitive model the softer side has twice as much padding. Having the padded side against the body gives the user a deep, pleasant pressure, while having the chain side against the body provides greater tactile stimulation.

Which weight is best for you?

The most common weights are 6, 8 and 10 kg, but the ideal weight is very much down to the individual. We have a 21-day full refund and return policy, so you can try the product out in the comfort of your own home.

Weight & Pressure Collar

Weighted collar
The Somna® Collar is a daytime product that helps to reduce tension in the body and shoulders. It is ergonomically designed to provide even, stable pressure. By lying on the chest and going down between the shoulder blades, it applies pressure to the muscles and gives the user a pleasant feeling of being embraced.

Which collar is best for you?
The Somna® Collar comes in three sizes: a junior size for children up to about nine years of age, and two weights for older children, adults and seniors. The most popular collar is 2 kg, but if you prefer more weight or a shorter wear period, choose the 2.5 kg model. The Somna® Collar Junior is small and weights 1 kg. There is also a cover available as an optional extra, which protects the collar during daily use.

Weight & Pressure Comforters

Weighted comforters
Somna has two different comforters: Somna® Comforter and Somna® Comforter 15 kg, both with slightly different functions and applications.

Which comforter is best for you?
The Somna® Comforter is a daytime product with the same positive properties as the Somna® Blanket, with its two-in-one function: one chain side and one padded side. The short comforter is good to have in your lap, while the longer one is better if you want to wrap it around yourself. You can also use the long comforter when you’re laying down, as a narrow blanket. The Somna® Comforter is available in two lengths, short and long. The short one weighs 4 kg and the long one comes in a 5 kg or 7 kg version. The comforters are for users of all ages.

Our Somna® Comforter 15 kg is as large as a standard duvet. The Somna® Comforter 15 kg and again it has one tactile chain side and a padded side for more even pressure. Somna® Comforter 15 kg is suitable for juniors and adults, primarily if you have a lot of tension in your body, severe agitation and anxiety, but also if you need to wind down and gather yourself quickly.

Weight & Pressure Vest

The Somna® Vest Balance is used during the day, and contributes to greater body awareness and concentration.
The vest should be worn as close to the body as possible Since it is very thin, it can ideally be worn under a sweater or jacket.

The vest helps the user to maintain focus and filter out unnecessary impressions. It can be worn, for instance, to help the user cope in social situations, or to prepare ahead of and during activities that may be demanding.

The pressure on the body can be adapted using the adjustable Velcro straps. You can also adjust the length of the vest using the shoulder straps.
