threshold ramp

A threshold ramp can, for most people, appear to be the simplest thing in the world. Even so, differences in threshold ramp design and in particular functionality for the end-user, health-care personnel and family members can be quite considerable. For this reason, it is important to first look at the type of threshold/door and the way it is situated, before choosing a threshold ramp solution. The 4 illustrations below depict typical door placements. Click on the illustration that best depicts your particular requirements and follow the directions, which will help you choose the correct threshold ramp solution.

corner ramps

To facilitate access for all road users, street and road ramps in common traffic situations almost always have ramped corners.

Shouldn't it be just as easy for people with impaired mobility or wheelchair users to move around in their homes?

Our ramps are extremely strong and are widely used as ramps on public roads in particular in Italy.

tailor made ramps

The flexibility of the Excellent Ramp System allows ramps to be designed in countless ways. Each ramp is simply tailor-made to fit perfectly to the surroundings and buildings - and not vice versa.

Working with the Excellent Ramp System is similar to playing with building blocks, only the imagination limits the possibilities available. If there is a need for further adjustment an ordinary hand saw or jigsaw can be used to trim the elements to suit.

About us

Company details

Excellent started operations in 1992 with production of flooring for the industry, specifically to protect back and legs for standing employees, but also in a version that is slip-resistant for bathroom, or to be used in environments with oils, grease, algae and much more..

In 1996 we started to deliver our products to the Rehab industry. Our floors and ramps are used in industrial environments for eg 10-ton trucks, so the use of floorings and ramps for wheelchairs with the weight of 150-500 kg, is peanuts in comparison.

Accessibility has become one of our specialties. This applies to both industrial ramps, wheelchair ramps, offsetting level differences of bathrooms, threshold ramps and more.
