High-quality, accessible holiday offerings are an important component of the 2015 tourism strategy that the state of Rhineland-Palatinate adopted in 2008. The Rhineland-Palatinate Tourism board had already incorporated this idea in 2009 with the project "Accessible Rhineland-Palatinate," whose goal is making companies and tourism directors sensitive to the importance of the topic and creating accessible holiday offerings.
Interested companies in the state can have their offering reviewed for accessibility and be included in the online database. Interested parties can find information and photos here of the verified companies and can put together their holiday according to their individual needs. The database contains current information on almost 500 companies and is continuously expanded.
