Nature

Spending time in the great outdoors can be invigorating and exhilarating. However, such experiences normally begin where streets and paths end, which can often pose a challenge to people with reduced mobility. But the national parks and nature reserves of the Barrier-free Destinations in Germany offer diverse, surprising and unconventional experiences that are accessible to all. They include horse-drawn carriage rides through the Eifel region, romantic tours in Saxon Switzerland, expeditions at the Wadden Sea, or simply relaxing by the Ruppiner, Franconian or Lusatian lakes.
